1. Prusa printers

Prusa Research, headquartered in Holešovice, was founded in 2012 by inventor Josef Průša, who is currently one of the most well-known figures in the field of 3D printing. Initially, he saw 3D printing as a fascinating hobby that could be perfected, and therefore he joined the open-source RepRap project.

Over time, he developed the design for the Prusa i3, which to this day remains one of the most popular designs for FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers. It can be found in various modifications as it falls under the open-source license.

Prusa Research is also known for its active user community, which provides support and shares ideas and guides for improving printing. They also offer a variety of materials and accessories for Prusa printers, including filaments, extruders, and print beds.
