Personal File Access through FTP
In order to get to your files outside UMB environment, you must use software which will enable to make FTP connection to software server. The software must support connection through arranged FTP. You can use any FTP client which enables this (Total Commander, Filezilla, ...).

FTP profile setup for Total Commander:
1.Enter any name of profile into the field Session
2. Enter the name of the file server into the field Host name
2.1. File server for students: ftp.studenti.umb.sk
2.2. Filer server for employees: ftp.umb.sk
3.Tick the field SSL/TLS
4. Insert your user´s name into the field User name. If you do not want your password to be kept, do not enter it.
5. Tick the field Use passive mode for transfers (like a WWW browser)
6. Confirm the setup using the OK button and you can get connected to server.
