SMART model (Signal model of alternative decision trajectories) is a methodological framework enabling, based on enterprise financial health prediction models, to identify, compare and select managerial interventions modifying future states of an enterprise accordingly. This framework was a planned output of the project VEGA 1/0767/18 SMART model - a decision support tool in the management of enterprises, including a corresponding SMART MODEL Shiny Application.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the development of the framework and its implementation via the SMART Model Shiny application was significantly delayed. Currently, the beta version of the model and application is being verified and the project team expects to present the updated version of the framework and the related application at international scientific conferences AMSE 2021 (http://www.amse-conference.eu/) in August 2021 or MSED 2021 (https://msed.vse.cz/) in September 2021. A monograph summarizing the proposed SMART model framework from the theoretical point of view is also in progress and is expected to be ready for print in July 2021. The final version of the SMART model Shiny application, based on feedback received during the planned scientific conferences, is expected to be online in September/October 2021.
The SMART model Shiny application is published on https://www.shinyapps.io/ page which is devoted to easy deployment of Shiny application on the Web.
However, the free version we are currently using is capped at 25 active hours per month. If these hours are exceeded, the application will not be available to potential users until the following month. Therefore, we also plan to deploy the final version of the SMART model Shiny application using an IT infrastructure of our university.
